Looking for Chatroulette? Start Random Video Chat Here
Same instant, one-click random matching — spin into a new video chat with a stranger right now. Free, no sign-up, and moderated the whole way through.
What people usually mean by "chatroulette"
For a lot of people, the word isn't a brand anymore — it's shorthand for one specific thing: click a button, get connected to a random stranger's camera, and either talk or hit Next. Uhmingle runs on exactly that format, rebuilt with active moderation and none of the friction that made the original harder to use over time.
Random video chat, or type instead
Turn your camera on and you're connected the moment you click start — no waiting room, nothing to install, works on desktop or mobile straight from the browser. Not a match? Tap Next for someone new immediately, with no cooldown and no cap on how many people you can meet.
Prefer typing first? Text mode uses the same instant matching, and you can switch to video mid-conversation whenever you're ready.
Interest tags and a country filter, built in
Add a topic and you'll be paired with someone who listed it too, instead of starting cold every time. Want matches from a specific part of the world? The country filter narrows things down without slowing the matching down — we've got dedicated pages for the USA, the UK, India, and Germany if you'd rather jump straight to one of those.
No account, no email, no waiting
There's no username to pick and no password to remember for next time. If skipping registration entirely is the main thing you're after, our no sign up chat page covers exactly how that works here.
Random matching, watched in real time
Every chat runs through active, AI-assisted moderation with human review behind it, plus a one-tap report button available in every session. Flag anything off and you're moved to a new match immediately. As with any stranger chat, keep your name, address, and financial details out of the conversation.
More entry points, same matching engine
Coming from a different platform? See our Omegle alternative and OmeTV comparison pages, or try Uhmingle Live for a real-time framing. Looking for the broader picture instead? Chat with strangers, meet people worldwide, and random video chat all run on the same instant matching.
