18+ Content Policy
Last updated: January 2026
1. Purpose of This Policy
Uhmingle connects strangers for live video and text chat, and that only works if people feel reasonably safe using it. This policy sets out who can use Uhmingle, what isn't allowed during a chat, how reports are handled, and what happens when the rules are broken. It applies to every chat, on every mode, at all times.
2. Age Requirement
Uhmingle is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Uhmingle is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. If we become aware that an account or session belongs to a minor, access is blocked and related data is deleted where feasible.
3. Content Involving Minors
Uhmingle has zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including material that appears to involve a minor even if the person is later claimed to be an adult. Any such activity is removed immediately, results in a permanent ban, and is reported to the relevant authorities and organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by law.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Sexual activity, exposure, or solicitation directed at another user.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse based on identity, appearance, or any other characteristic.
- Impersonating another person, or attempting to extract someone's real name, address, financial details, or other identifying information.
- Advertising, soliciting payment, or promoting another service, product, or platform during a chat.
- Attempting to record, screenshot, or redistribute another user without their consent.
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to bypass matching or moderation.
5. Prohibited Content
- Sexually explicit or graphic content of any kind.
- Graphic violence, gore, or content intended to shock or disturb.
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Content that promotes illegal activity, including the sale of drugs, weapons, or stolen goods.
- Extremist, terrorist, or violence-inciting material.
6. How Moderation Works
Live video and text sessions are monitored by automated, AI-assisted moderation designed to detect policy violations as they happen, alongside reports submitted by users. Moderation can end a session, restrict a user, or escalate a case for further review, depending on what's detected. No moderation system is perfect, which is why user reports remain an important part of how violations get caught.
7. Reporting a Violation
Every chat includes a one-tap report option. If something in a chat violates this policy, end the session and use the report tool — you don't need to keep the conversation going to document it first. For anything not resolved through in-chat reporting, or to flag a broader concern, contact trust@uhmingle.fun or visit our Report Abuse page.
8. Enforcement and Bans
Violations of this policy can result in a warning, a temporary restriction, or a permanent ban, depending on the severity and whether it's a repeat issue. Severe violations — including anything involving minors, non-consensual content, or credible threats of harm — result in an immediate permanent ban and, where required by law, are reported to the appropriate authorities.
9. Appeals
If you believe a restriction or ban was applied in error, you can request a review by contacting trust@uhmingle.fun. Include any details that support your case. Bans related to content involving minors or other severe violations are not eligible for appeal.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Content Policy may be updated periodically as our moderation tools and legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
